This iced white chocolate mocha made with a homemade white chocolate sauce is the perfectly sweetened summer drink for all iced coffee lovers!

I used to think coffee was that adult drink that people drank to stay awake all day. For a while I stayed away. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized I actually LOVE the taste of coffee.
Over the last few months, my husband and I have become those coffee snobs, who are obsessed with their coffee. We were recently on a trip to Vancouver, and were so disappointed by most of the coffee we had. We could not have been more excited to get back to our morning routine at home, just so we could drink a cup of coffee we actually enjoy!

Most of the iced coffee recipes I come by are made with pre-made sugar syrups. Honestly, I love the convenience of it. The Hazelnut syrup by Torani is amazing! and I have been wanting to try some of these syrups for fall!
But there are only so many sauces and syrups I want around my house to fuel my coffee habit.
I have recently started experimenting with making my own flavored coffees. This iced white chocolate mocha is one of my current favorite!
- It is ready in 5 minutes
- Only 2 ingredients
- You don’t need any fancy ingredients!

How to make an Iced White Chocolate Mocha?
White Chocolate Sauce
To make the white chocolate sauce, add 1/4 cup of white chocolate and 1/2 tablespoon cream to small bowl.
Microwave in 30 second increments, just until melted. Make sure the white chocolate doesn’t burn.
Set aside to cool for 5 minutes.
Regular white chocolate bar, or white chocolate chips are both great for this recipe!

Iced White Chocolate Mocha
Once you’re ready to make your iced white chocolate mocha drink:
- Pull 1 shot of espresso or brew 1/2 cup of strong coffee.
- When ready to make your drink, to a tall glass add the white chocolate sauce, along with a shot of espresso or strong coffee. Mix thoroughly.
- Add ice then top with milk of your choice.
- Top it with a shot of espresso or strong coffee. Mix thoroughly.
- Add ice then top with milk of your choice. I used oat milk, but 2% milk or any other milk you enjoy with your coffee will taste great!

Tips for the Perfect Iced White Chocolate Mocha
- The two parts to this latte are the white chocolate sauce and a shot of espresso.
- When making the white chocolate sauce, make sure to not overheat the white chocolate, as it can easily burn.
- The white chocolate might solidify, and then you’ll have chunks of white chocolate in your coffee. To avoid this, add cream when melting the white chocolate, and mix the white chocolate sauce into hot coffee.
- The ratio of the ingredients is just how I enjoy this latte. Experiment with more white chocolate, or add some sugar if you prefer a sweeter drink and even different kinds of milk to adjust to your coffee tastes.
- I made the latte with a shot of espresso. But you can also replace it with a strong black coffee.
- For the iced mocha you can use milk as it is, or froth the milk before adding it in. I’ve been using this milk frother I got from Amazon. You can also pour some cold milk into a mason jar, close the lid and shake it for about 30 seconds to get the bubbles.
