This Apple Crisp Shaken Espresso is fall in a cup. A cozy blend of apple, a caffeine kick, and creamy oat milk come together for a perfect sip of autumn in this iced apple latte.

Fall or autumn is the peak coffee season, at least in my mind.
But it’s been unseasonably warm, so a fall iced coffee is the perfect drink you need this season!
Inspired by the Starbucks Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato, this iced apple latte is the perfect transition into a cooler-weather drink.

Apple sauce, oat milk, and brown sugar come together with a strong espresso to make this fall drink.
The key to this recipe is shaking or mixing the espresso with the sugar and apple sauce.
I love using a cocktail shaker or a mason jar with a lid to shake up all the ingredients.
A cocktail shaker with a strainer is ideal for this recipe as the applesauce may be thick and chunky in the drink otherwise. The extra bit of work is well worth the effort!

Recipe Tips
- Shaking the ingredients together cools down the espresso while mixing the ingredients together well.
- You’ll need either a cocktail shaker or a jar with a lid to shake this drink.
- A cocktail shaker with a strainer is ideal for this recipe as the applesauce may be thick and chunky in the drink otherwise. You can also pour the drink through a sieve before pouring it into the cup.
- While lattes are typically made with espressos, this drink would also be delicious with a strong black coffee!
- This drink is best enjoyed chilled as soon as you make it.
- Lately, I’ve been using my Nespresso machine for espresso drinks. The Bianco Doppio pods are my favorite for latte or milk-based drinks!
